We stayed 3 nights — you can shorten to 2 if you drop Sanford Lab, but don't skip the canyon drive or Deadwood.
You need a night between Lusk and Estes Park. One night is exactly right — use the morning for the Tall Boots walk.

You're willing to drive Lusk to Estes Park in a single day (240 mi, 3h 30m). Doable but long.
